GENEVA CUSTOM PAINT JOB

After Wall Doctor completely transformed this home with a custom paint job that included all ceilings/walls doors and trim throughout we then refinished the stairway rails/treads/risers.

1st all carpet and thousands of staples were removed from stairway, original balusters were removed. We then began the process of stripping rails/newel posts to bare lumber, at that point we were ready to stain color of choice, in this case: Minwax Espresso. We then applied 3 coats satin polyurethane sanding in between coats. Once rails/posts were complete we moved to stairway, stripping treads to bare lumber, they were stained and finished as described previously. Risers were repaired as needed after pulling staples. Risers and stringers were then oil primed, sanded and 2 coats Sherwin Williams Pro Classic semi-gloss was applied. At this point we were ready to install the new wrought iron balusters completing this project!!
